  • IICECC is an international institute that deals with the issues of clean energy and climate change by conducting policy and technology research, development, implementation, and education for the benefit of mankind and the planet earth.

  • All our activities are conducted by a multi-disciplinary scientists and professionals associated with the institute in the country where they work or live and the results will be accessable to members and qualified associates.

  • IICECC is not for profit organization which receives its operational funds from various national and international donors and is accountable for the use of the funds to the donors.

  • IICECC was established initially in Indonesia by a group of scientists, practioners, and academia having concerns about the future of the energy security in the country and in the world.

  • Membership to IICECC is by invitation only.

  • The founding of IICECC was initiated by Dr Luluk Sumiarso and Professor Yohanes Surya PhD

Hybride clean Energy Generator

Hybride Energy generator system Wind and Solar cell

Instalation of Wind energy is a pilot project of IICECC. A 1000 watt generator integrated with 300 watt solar sytem is under tested for implementation in rural area.

WHAT IS CLEAN ENERGY?

  • IICECC defines clean energy as all energy generated by conventional and non-conventional technology the use of which for economic purposes shall not emit or emit the minimum allowable carbon dioxide or other poluting elements to the environment.

  • Clean energy include all known renewable energy and non-renewable energy which after undergoing the necessary process using the best possible technology will be internationally accepted as energy with minimum emission of carbon footprint, and therefore considered clean energy.

CLEAN ENERGY+.

IICECC is promoting a concept of mitigating the negative impact of using fossil energy by addressing the three stages of burning it for economic purposes. This concept called Reducing Carbon Emmision from Fossil Fuel Burning ( REFF-BURN) is addressing the problems at each stage of the fossil fuels burning, which is ‘pre-combustion’, ‘during combustion’ and ‘post-combustion’, and determine measures and technology which could resolve or mitigate the negative impacts of the process.

  • The Concept of Clean Energy+ is an extension of REFF-Burn adding a new perspective to address the impact of fossil fuels burning to the environment.
  • REFF-Burn/Clean Energy+ concept will be the institute’s philosophical guideline for its main activities

WHY CLEAN ENERGY?

  • The utilization of Clean Energy is imperative not only in anticipation of the end of the global fossil fuels era but also in combating the impact of climate change resulting from unabated use of fossil energy.

  • As the global community is racing against time to mitigate the negative impact of climate change, at the same time the world needs increasing energy to fuel development of emerging economies in the Asia Pacific regions lead by China and India, the planet’s most populous countries.

  • It is imperative that the world must conserve the existing conventional energy in addition to developing new technology to cleanse the poluting elements of fossil energy and to use renewable energy to fill in the gap left by the rapid depletion of fossil energy resources.

  • At the end of the day the global community will use all energy available on this planet, but all of the energy must have a common trait- it should be Clean Energy.
